You can save on shipping by selecting “local pickup” when checking out on your order! Once your order is complete, you will receive an email with the address for pickup!
Can I get a refund?
We're unable to offer returns or refunds unless there's a defect or an error on our end — in which case, please reach out within 14 days with a photo and we'll take care of it. For lost or damaged shipments, claims are handled directly through USPS. Priority mail includes $50 of coverage, and you can add more at checkout. Visit USPS.com with your tracking number to get started. You will need photos of the box damage and shipping label ready.
Can you combine my orders?
With small-batch releases come a lot of orders, and we're so grateful for every one. Because of the volume, combined shipping isn't something we can reliably offer. If we can combine, we will, and we'll refund any extra shipping. Otherwise, multiple orders will ship separately. Thank you for understanding!
When will my order ship?
We’re a small team of 3 women over here! Please allow us 3-5 business days to process and package your order! We use USPS for shipping. Here are their transit times:
- Ground Advantage 2-4 days
- Priority Mail 1-3 days
My package says delivered but its not here. What do I do?
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been scanned in by USPS. If your package says “delivered” but you can’t find it, it usually shows up in 24 hours, sometimes as long as 3-4 days. We also recommend you check with neighbors to see if it has been delivered to the wrong address. If you need help with filing a claim with usps, please contact us and we’d be happy to help you out.
Do you ship internationally?
We are happy to ship to most countries. If your country is not listed at checkout, please send us an email, and we'll see what we can do for you! Email us at: planthealingwoman@gmail.com. Please know that you may be assessed additional taxes and duties when your shipment clears customs.
Our Products
What if a product I want sells out?
Each product listing has an option to enter your email for restock notifications. All of the medicines that are not seasonal ones are restocked regularly. All of our herbal products are made in small batches, with an emphasis on using ethically wildcrafted or organically grow herbs from the local region. We follow the land’s rhythm, and thus, we will not always be able to meet the demand for our offerings. We restock products when we are able, so we really encourage you to sign up for the notification if there’s something you were hoping to score but didn’t.
Where are your products made?
Plant Healing Woman Apothecary is a one (sometimes 3) woman business, with every herbal remedy made by hand in a small private apothecary located in Lyons, Colorado.
How should I store my products?
Each formula is crafted in small batches and presented in recyclable glass, metal tins, or compostable bags. To preserve the integrity and potency of the herbal medicines, store away from heat, harsh light, and direct sunlight. For the most transformative experience, we recommend using each product within six months of opening.
What is the difference between an herbal tincture, oxymel, and elixir?
Our herbal tinctures are made with fresh plant material with gluten free alcohol, while our elixirs are made with fresh plant material, gluten free alcohol, and raw honey. Herbal oxymels, however, are made with organic Apple Cider Vinegar and raw honey.
Do you use essential oils in your products?
None of our products contain essential oils. This decision is intentional to promote sustainable herbalism and non-toxic herbal remedies.
What is the shelf life for herbal products?
The shelf life of our products depends on the type of herbal product.
Herbal tea: Dried herbs can last many years, but for maximum potency we suggest using the herbs up within 1-2 years.
Tinctures: Up to 5 years, but for maximum potency we suggest using it up within one year.
Glycerites: Up to one year.
Oxymels: Due to the bacteria and microbes naturally present in vinegar, we recommend that you use the product within 1 year of purchase.
Salves: Up to 2 years.
Infused Oils: Up to 1 year (even though all of our base oils are organic and unrefined).
